Obviously, I don't currently teach a class, but my favorite thing about working with kids has always been taking an interest in them. They are so willing to share their little personalities, if we are just willing to affirm them. And in the process, we get all kinds of hilarious quotes!
I really like watching the kids grow up. This past Sunday some of the Jr. High kids helped out with the new praise choir. I used to teach these kids when they were 4 years old! It's so neat to see them as awkward teenagers that can help lead younger kids.
